No I haven’t launched a new site or blog, it’s just a personal space of mine located here: tamal.me. For the last few days I’ve been quite fascinated about my new site plus having pending tasks on other websites, so far the last 3-4 days were very tiring, multi tasking on my site + client’s site + publishing here at BlogKori. So there’s you have it:
In the past I never had a personal website, I bought my name domain (tamalanwar.com) from a local provider here at Dhaka and lost the domain later on. Now this domain is owned by some guy living in Morocco. This is why I hate local domain and webhosting providers. Ohh well, I created a small personal blog at blogkori.com/tamal and it was going great there. But I didn’t like the concept of having a sub directory/ sub domain for my personal site and it was conflicting with the SEO terms in search engines.
So after a long wait I was finally able to get a good, easy to remember personal domain tamal.me -isn’t that great? I imported all of my personal updates from blogkori.com/tamal to the new site’s blog located here: tamal.me/blog. Now I didn’t knew before how to make your wordpress blog section separate from the main website, so it was a great learning experience.
I used my thesis dev edition to design this site. Made a page called main for the home page and set it from the wordpress Reading options. Now when you do that, you have a page headline on the top which I don’t like to have. So I added this to my thesis custom file editor:
.pagename .headline_area {display:none;}
Where you change the pagename to your page’s title like in my case I added main. If you have a page like My home page, then it will be my-home-page. I also created a matching twitter background with a few details and social media links:
When you browse the internal pages (like the blog) then you will have a narrow sidebar on the right. I placed facebook badge, twitter updates, flickr pics and some other things there.
So what’s the plan for this new personal site? Currently I just love to see the site. Let me tell you, it’s nothing so serious at all, just a place to share my personal updates and bragging. I want to have something as a retirement plan, maybe when I’ll retire from Blogkori, then I will still have a place to post some updates (cause I love blogging)

No I’m not working actively because I have so much work here at internet marketing. My associates and team mates won’t leave me and it’s hard to manage. I have to take a break from IM if I want to regain on MLM, so first I must settle few things here and my house (if you read my personal blog, then you’ll know)
How will you be able to manage so many blogs at the same time? Anyways, best of luck.

Awesome URL, it will definitely help with SEO. I lost my personal domain too some cybersquatters who hijacked it when I didn’t renew it due to a misunderstanding with my hosting provider…..tough luck :-(
