Create a mobile version of your blog with Mofuse

If you have seen the big sites like Google, Yahoo or Youtube, you have also seen that they all have their own mobile versions. Having a mobile version of your blog just takes your blog to a new level. You readers will have the chance to browse your blog with their mobile phones.

Most of the new mobile phones supports full web pages but for lots of users who are using old handsets or who are not interested to browse bigger sites from their mobiles, you have to give them a wap version.

Mofuse is a free but professional service which gives you the scope to mobilize your blog/ website. You can see BlogKori from your mobile too, just type m.blogkori.com and enjoy.

To create your own mobile website, go to Mofuse.com and sign up for a free account.
After you have successfully created an account, you will be asked to Launch a new mobile site. Type in your blog’s name, the url you want as the mobile web address and select a category of your blog. Your mobile site’s address will be, yourname.mofuse.mobi.

Add your blog’s RSS feed name and address like your feedburner feed address.

Click, ‘Launch your mobile site
That’s it! your mobile site is ready. You can see it on, yourname.mofuse.mobi. You can also see the iPhone version of your site on, yourname.mofuse.mobi/iphone.

After you created your site, you can access your dasboard and can set up different options.

If you want your mobile site to be setup on a custom domain like, yourname.mobi, wap.yourname.com or m.yourname.com, click on ‘Custom domain‘ on the top right of your mofuse dashboard. Add your domain name and click ‘save


(!) To make the custom domain work, you have to own the domain and have to create a CNAME record with yourname.mofuse.mobi.

  • Add the mobile version address on the top of your blog
  • You can track statistics and can add hit counters
  • You can add a comments box on your mobile site
  • You can create custom pages and links
  • You can monetize your site using Adsense or Admob which I will discuss later on this blog
